Look at me and my beautiful lush ebony fur. Lucy is a petite gentle and sweet black female tuxedo cat with medium long hair. She is about three years old and lived in a colony (near the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland) of about forty black and white cats, many of whom are as pretty and sweet as her. She is the mother of Dusk who is also up for adoption. Lucy is one of 18 cats in her foster home, so she has only begun to fully blossom as she will when you take her home with you and spend time alone with her. She is still shy and although you can pick her up and pat her she is not yet used to being carried or held. She will sleep on your bed at night if you like. She will probably be a lap cat when she gets used to you. She is very intelligent and wants your affection. She gets along very well with other cats. She has not yet had the opportunity to meet a dog but am sure she will like it once she gets used to it. She would love the opportunity to come home, spread her wings and become your forever friend. You may adopt her alone in the right situation or with Lucy her BFF. She is spayed, has had FVRCP and rabies shots, and tests negative for FIV/FeLV.
